Some pups even donated multiple times! “Bow wowsers” each and every one of you understands how important it is to cuddle and play with toys ~ share the toys, share the love I say!
With the help of your pet parents, After the Track collected 163 toys! These toys will be divided amongst our foster homes who will make sure that every greyhound retired from racing and moving to Canada via After the Track gets a toy of their very own to take along to their “furever” homes.
Here’s hoping some toys can be sent to my furry friends in West Virginia waiting to be adopted from Greyhound Pets of America, Wheeling Chapter. My momma promised to bring toys when she visited GPA Wheeling’s adoption centre last year…she doesn’t like to break a promise so I think GPA Wheeling’s greyhounds can look forward to some toys heading their way!
Special thanks to some special clients of L.A.H. who donated toys in honour of their four legged family members who have passed on to the rainbow bridge. What a “woofer–ful” way to pay tribute to a beloved furry friend…
