Lakeview Animal Hospital was founded in 1993, by veterinarian Dr. Pat Scott, who was very shortly joined by her longtime colleague Dr. Judy Wasserfall. Our Mission
At Lakeview Animal Hospital in Mississauga we strive to give the best possible care to our patients in a compassionate and supportive environment.
We practice collaborative medicine: We assist our clients in their decisions regarding their pets’ care, helping them to feel comfortable, and knowing that we share their concerns for their pets and their families.
We also believe in giving back: We support several pet rescues and are the most experienced hospital in the Greater Toronto Area providing veterinary care for the unique medical needs of rescued pets.
Wellness
The best way to keep you pet healthy and to prevent expensive health problems is by bringing your pet in for regular health examinations at least once a year. At this visit we will recommend an individualized vaccination program based on your pet’s age and risk profile. We will also recommend a parasite prevention program for fleas, tick, and intestinal parasites.
Dentistry
For all dogs and cats oral and dental health is important to their overall well-being. We will discuss preventive measures you can take to maintain healthy teeth and gums, and when the need arises, we are fully equipped with everything needed to make dental procedures as pain-free as possible.
