On September 11 2012 Dr. Wasserfall went to the TAVM (Toronto Academy of Veterinary Medicine). She listened to Chantale Pinard from the University of Guelph talk about “If eyes could only talk and tell us where the problem is…” In this presentation, a review of the common pitfalls associated with the ocular exam was discussed. Several topics were explored in order to simplify and demystify certain ocular conditions such as anisocoria, emergency ophthalmology and common ophthalmic surgeries. “When to use what?” was examined in a discussion of ocular pharmacology.
