Dr. Patricia Scott
Veterinarian

Education: Ontario Veterinary College

Dr. Patricia Scott graduated with honours from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1980. She has been practicing in the Mississauga area for over 30 years. Her special interests are surgery and dentistry. She has a Black Belt in Karate, and enjoys practicing hot yoga. On her weekends off and vacations you will find her enjoying the outdoors, in such activities as hiking and cross-country skiing or visiting her family’s 170 year old farm.

Dr. Christopher Brown
Veterinarian

Education: University of London, England

Dr. Brown hails from across the pond, having come to Canada in the mid-90’s. He is our “rock”: Always calm and collected, no matter the situation. Dr. Brown’s interests are teaching and mentoring, as well a special interest in anesthesia. Dr. Brown has previously taught in the Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) program at Seneca college, and is now our official mentor for new veterinarians and RVTs. Dr. Brown is also working towards his masters degree in anesthesiology.

Dr. Brown can be found both at our clinic, and at our sister clinic, Animal Care Clinic. By practicing at both, he brings a wealth of knowledge and ideas with him and into his medical care.

(And we swear he is a small animal veterinarian despite the picture – we’re working on getting a better one 🙂 )

Dr. Charlene Ivanoff
Veterinarian

Education: Bachelor of Science, University of Guelph; Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Ontario Veterinary College

Dr. Ivanoff joined our team in 2022 and has been a wonderful, caring addition to the LAH team!

Dr. Esther Moon
Veterinarian

Education: Bachelor of Science, McMaster University; Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Ontario Veterinary College; Small Animal Rotating Internship, Mississauga-Oakville Veterinary Emergency Hospital

Dr. Moon joined our team in 2023 with a wealth of knowledge from her residency, and is excited to help pets and our rescue soon-to-be-pets!

Dr. Hans Christoffersen
Veterinarian & Owner

Education: Ontario Veterinary College

Dr. Hans is the owner and manager of Lakeview Animal Hospital. He became a part of the practice in July 2019, becoming only the second owner in Lakeview Animal Hospital’s 30 year history(!)

Instead of seeing appointments, Dr. Hans works closely with the Lakeview Animal Hospital team to keep the clinic running smoothly and ensure that you get the same great care as always.

Dr. Hans graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2001 and has extensive experience across many aspect of small animal veterinary medicine, including working as an ER veterinarian, practicing as an associate veterinarian, establishing and running an animal shelter veterinary clinic, and teaching at the Ontario Veterinary College.

When not in the clinic, Dr. Hans is an avid hockey and Ultimate Frisbee player, and likes to dabble in photography. He spends his free time with his wife, specialist veterinarian Dr. Jinelle Webb, his daughter, and 2 cats and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Homer (D’oh!).

Robyn
Registered Veterinary Technician

Robyn graduated from the veterinary technology program at Ridgetown College in 2004 and soon after, attained her Registered Veterinary Technician status. She joined the Lakeview Animal Hospital team in July 2005 and brings a variety of expertise to the practice including emergency and TLC skills. Robyn is currently our head technician who manages a small team which consists of another RVT, technician/veterinary assistants and kennel staff.

Robyn’s love for animals has allowed her and her husband to adopt two amazing dogs. Daisy is a rescued puggle and Chief is a rescued shepherd/husky cross who Robyn brought back with her when she went up to James Bay with IFAW for a spay/neuter clinic.

In Robyn’s spare time she enjoys cooking/baking, the outdoors, spending time with her family (which can consist of throwing Daisy the ball for hours), and successfully selling Tupperware. Robyn is also been very busy in the animal rescue organization field; you can always find her collecting supplies and making sure that these rescues have what they need. Robyn is currently working with IFAW Northern Dog Project as one of their surgery technicians, Save Our Scruff as a key member to their vetting team and several Mexico rescues.

Tara
Operations Manager,
Registered Veterinary Technician

Tara works closely with Dr. Hans to manage the daily operations here at Lakeview Animal Hospital. Her ability to break down big-picture concepts into workable action plans ensures that we can deliver on our goal of providing great medical care and client service.

Her experience in veterinary medicine is extensive, and includes working as a registered veterinary technician in both general veterinary practice and emergency practice. She has also managed clinics for many years and is a teacher and administrator in the registered veterinary technician program at Seneca college.

When not at the clinic, she can be found chasing her two school-age kids and her dogs 🙂

Sarah
Receptionist

Sarah is our anchor when things get hectic – her ability to organize, schedule and talk with our pet parents keeps us under control! We haven’t yet got a full bio or picture as she’s too busy helping us help your pets 🙂

Christine
Receptionist

Christine joined us to help greet our wonderful clients in 2023. She has quickly become an integral member of our team and a warm and welcoming presence in the clinic!

Mary
Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Mary has been in the veterinary field since 1987. She has been with us here at Lakeview since July 1997. Mary completed the Animal Care program through Sheridan College in 1981 and also took a computer studies course in animal care.

Mary shares her life here in Mississauga with her husband Alex, her Siamese cat Kynka, her Turtle Fred and her Bulldog Mix Iris!

Lindsay
Veterinary Assistant

Lindsay joined the Lakeview team in June 2009 after completing the Animal Care Program through Sheridan College. Prior to joining the team, Lindsay gained valuable experience as a co-op student at both Lakeview and another local animal hospital. Lindsay is usually found quietly working away in the kennel or treatment room area helping to care for our in hospital patients, adoptees and our clinic cats. You can now find Lindsay venturing out of her comfort zone ~ she is now helping answer the phones, booking appointments and selling food to the clients. She is a great help throughout the entire hospital.

When not at work, Lindsay is raising her young daughter Ava and large Golden Doodle Cooper. Lindsay enjoys camping and grooming her dog Cooper.
